An Important Message from Your President & CEO

We Are Here to Help

We know your continued access is essential.

Like you, the CUA Team has been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it is having around the world, in our province and on our organization. The rapidly evolving situation has drastically changed our lives and daily routines.

Earlier today, Government and public health authorities declared a provincial state of emergency in Nova Scotia. As a result, I have heard from many of our valued members who are wondering what this means for their continued access to banking products and services. I want to assure you, we are here to help.

Our dedicated staff have been working to understand and respond to members’ changing needs and priorities. Following the release of our comprehensive Financial Assistance Program last week, our team experienced an unprecedented volume of phone calls, email and online submissions. Now, more than ever, we know you need us for support, solutions and helpful advice.

As a recognized essential service, we are committed to remaining here for you in the ways you need us.  If you are able, leverage CUA’s convenient online, mobile and telephone banking options.  If you must, visit a branch with clean hands and a commitment to follow the guidance of public health.

I want to thank each of you for your continued loyalty, patience and kindness during this time of uncertainty. I am so proud of our team for the way they are coming together in your service. We are taking this situation very seriously and will continue to adapt in the days and weeks to come, with the health of our members, staff and community in mind.

We have a plan and we will keep you informed of developments as they happen using email (sign up) and our COVID-19 Updates page at cua.com/COVID19.

Take care of yourself and one another.

Your CEO,

Marie Mullally
