Become a Community Partner: Through CUA's Community Partners Program, local businesses can increase their exposure through free promotional opportunities across our website, social media channels and through in-branch displays at all eight CUA branch locations. Visit our Business Resource Centre: While we thrive on any opportunity to discuss your business ideas with you in person, our online Business Resource Centre is great alternative offering helpful advice and information. No matter the stage of your business, you'll receive tips on growing your business, information for non-profit organizations, and everything in between. 

Maximize your marketing: In today's digital world, there's an endless list of online marketing tools to help you share your products and services. But did you know that a number of these great resources are also free? If you enjoy using social media, consider exploring Hootsuite as a free way to schedule your posts in advance. How about graphic design? Programs like Canva allow you to easily create beautiful graphics at no cost. And, with online tools like HubSpot, you can become certified in a range of marketing courses to help boost your business, free of charge! 

Meet with local agencies: Halifax is home to a range of local agencies and organizations dedicated to helping you make vital connections within the business community. From CEED (Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development), to the Halifax Partnership and the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, you’ll meet, network and learn from like-minded business professionals who offer a range of advice and experiences.
