Other home improvement projects, like updating the kitchen, can add value your home, which is worthwhile if you're planning to sell your home in the future.

Getting quotes from several contractors is a great place to start. Asking friends, family and colleagues is an excellent way to find a trusted and reputable company to work with. Once you have an idea of what the project will cost, make an appointment with your Financial Advisor to discuss financing options.
